Domestic Violence Suspect Shot

HOLLYWOOD—After a call made to 911 during a domestic dispute at the 1800 block of Whitely Avenue, a suspect was shot and killed.


At around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, December 6, a police-involved shooting took place, where the suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. It is still unclear as to why the suspect was shot. No officers were injured during the incident.


According to witnesses, the police were at the building where the shooting took place on Whitley between Hollywood Boulevard and Franklin Street on Tuesday, however it is currently known as to whether it is related to the incident.


The deceased’s girlfriend who is also unidentified at the moment, called 911 with accusations of domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon. No weapon has been found and the case is still under investigation.
