HOLLYWOOD HILLS—A gang related shooting at a nightclub left one man dead on March 30.
The shooting occurred outside of the club.

According to a news release from the LAPD, officers responded to a radio call around 1:58 a.m. of a shooting in the area of Las Palmas Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard outside of the Premiere Supper Club. When officers arrived, they found the victim lying on the ground by a Dodge Charger. LAFD personnel responded and took the victim away to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Craig Harvey of the L.A. County Coroner's Office confirmed to Canyon News the identity of the victim as Keon Dontrell Collins of Inglewood. The victim’s autopsy report was still pending at the printing of this article.

LAPD detectives believed that the incident was gang related, and they are looking for the suspects they believe are responsible for the death of Collins. The release described the suspects as 3 or 4 black males who were last seen in a black four-door sedan that was headed southbound on Las Palmas Avenue after the shooting.
