Jerry Bruckheimer Receives Hollywood Star

HOLLYWOOD HILLS--On Monday June 24, throngs of adoring and screaming fans witnessed the Hollywood film and television producer Jerry Bruckheimer honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A-listers Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp were arm in arm around Bruckheimer for the unveiling of his star with the three all-smiles taking their photo ops.
Bruckheimer has a laundry list of blockbuster hits from “Beverly Hills Cop,” “Top Gun,” “Pearl Harbor,” “Pirates of the
Caribbean,” and his newest film “The Lone Ranger” hitting theaters July 3. For Jerry Bruckheimer, fans who want to visit the newest star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame can find the star beneath the El Capitan Theater and front row center of the El Capitan Theater’s main entrance.
His star sits among acclaimed actor and director, Ron Howard. Actor Johnny Depp who worked on the “Pirates of the
Caribbean” franchise and “The Lone Ranger” resurrected fan favorite Captain Jack Sparrow quoting “Where’s the bloody rum?” Bruckheimer said, “It’s been a long and exciting journey from the streets of
Detroit to the sidewalks of
Hollywood. It is an unbelievable honor to be included in the roster of legends such as Alfred Hitchcock, Marlin Brando, and Charlie Chaplin.”
