HOLLYWOOD HILLS—Pop singer Katy Perry has slashed the price of her Hollywood Hills estate from $6.925 million in April 2013 to $6.495 million.
The seven bedrooms, 11 baths, Hollywood Hills home was purchased in June 2011 for $6.5 million by the singer and ex-husband Russell Brand. The Spanish style mansion, that has been dubbed as “Park Hill” is a 1920s era, 3-acre estate compound that has a gated entrance, exquisite architectural details, and a stunning view of the
Los Angeles cityscape. It is also a block away from
Los Angeles sunset strip and is near the famed Chateau Marmont. The property also includes a guest house that was built in 2004, a pool that resembles a pristine lagoon with cascading waterfalls, as well as lofty ceilings throughout the residence.

The property also has a separate two-story guest house and a Carriage House on the second floor for auto storage. Despite the price cut, Perry’s spacious home is above the median Hollywood Hills home value of $1.3395 million.
The couple had also listed and sold a three bedroom Los Feliz home before Brand filed for divorce. Perry, 28, informed in a revealing interview with Vogue magazine in June 2013, that Brand had asked for a divorce via a text message.
Perry’s musical career continues to thrive despite the divorce, and among her recent songs includes “Part Of Me,” which many believe was inspired by her divorce with Brand.
