LAPD Holds Anti-Bullying News Conference

HOLLYWOOD HILLS—On Tuesday, October 1, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) will be holding a news conference to kick off National Bullying Prevention Month.
The conference is meant to “help raise awareness and inspire action to stop bullying,” according to the release. LAPD wants the community to unite and join the movement to “identify, address and prevent bullying through events, activities, outreach and education,” as stated in the press release.
The conference will be held at the Hollywood School House at
1233 North McCadden Place at 9 a.m. Some speakers at the conference include Senator Ted Lieu, Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer, Captain Peter Zarcone of the LAPD Hollywood Division and Monica Harmon of Speak Out Against Bullying, Inc.
