LAPD Seeking Public's Help In Kidnap-Robbery

HOLLYWOOD—The LAPD Hollywood Division Robbery Detectives are seeking the public's help in acquiring new information that may lead to the arrest of four suspects wanted for a kidnapping and robbery in the Hollywood area.

 

The incident occurred on July 23, at around 4 p.m. on the 8000 block of Carlton Way. While sitting in his parked vehicle, the victim was kidnapped by three suspects that emerged from a White Chevy van, which stopped beside his vehicle. Moments later, the suspects drove to a gas station. Money was exchanged, and the victim was released, according to authorities.

The suspects are described as follows: suspect one is a male, and no further description is available; suspect two is a male, and may possibly be Hispanic; suspect three is described as a Hispanic male, 40 to 45 years of age, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing between 180-185 pounds; and suspect four was the driver (no description). LAPD officials released a composite sketch of suspect three. All four suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

 

The suspect vehicle is a white 2000-2006 Chevy Express commercial type van, with a sliding door on the passenger side door and standard rims. Canyon News contacted Hollywood Area Robbery Detectives Alvarez and Kukaua, who indicated that no new information has surfaced as of press time.
