HOLLYWOOD HILLS—A pair of criminals making several burglaries throughout the Hollywood Hills area have been caught on tape. Two men described as African Americans in their late teens to early 20s were caught on tape in one of their recent burglaries through a home mounted with security cameras.

The Los Angeles Police Department issued video images to the public in an attempt to put the criminals behind bars. The department’s biggest lead came on December 8 when they were called to the 2000 block of Mound Street. The residence in question had recent video footage, and caught the pair breaking through a large glass door at the back of the home.

The first suspect was described to be between 18-23 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches weighing between 135-150 pounds. The second is 5 feet 8 inches weighing between 135-150 pounds and also suspected to be between the ages of 18-23. Both are believed to be using a light colored Mercedes-Benz as a getaway car. Authorities are asking anyone with any information on the burglaries or the suspects to call Hollywood Burglary Lead Detective Jeff Childs at 213-972-2926, or 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247).
