HOLLYWOOD HILLS—A man was shot on Monday, July 2, at 9 a.m. during a home invasion robbery in the Hollywood Hills. The Los Angeles Police Department reported that three masked suspects entered a home in the 3300 block of Charleston Way demanding money and other valuables.
The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and jewelery. A man who resided in the home was shot during the robbery and taken to the hospital and his condition was unknown, as of press time. The suspects have not been caught and their descriptions are unavailable as of press time.
Neighbors stated that the home was owned by a married couple for the past six months. They assumed the couple were targeted because they held a garage sale at their home recently.
