Woman Hit By Metro Train

HOLLYWOOD—On Friday, January 25, a woman was hit by a metro train at the Hollywood and Western station and is currently in critical condition.

According to reports, an unidentified woman in her 40s was hit by a red line train at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Shortly after, emergency rescue crews came to the scene at the 5400 block of West Hollywood Boulevard. She is currently suffering from chest trauma, broken ribs, what may be a punctured lung, and other injuries. There was a delay in the train schedule, which resumed shortly after 12:00 p.m.

As of now, it is unclear as to whether it was an accident or a suicide attempt.
