HOLLYWOOD HILLS—A $50,000 dollar reward was offered last Tuesday for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for the murder of 66-year-old Hervey Medelin.  In January, Merdelin’s severed head along with his hands and feet were discovered in the Bronson Canyon area of Griffith Park, near the famous Hollywood sign and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Hollywood Hills mansion. Two women made the discovery while hiking. One of their dogs discovered a plastic bag containing a severed human head, said authorities. Medelin was a retired Mexican Airlines employee who lived in an apartment close to where the body parts were found. Detectives continue to investigate the homicide and search for additional clues. However, they have not pinned any suspects or motives.
