The Hollywood Christmas parade takes place annually on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and commenced this year at 6:30 p.m. The parade started off at the corner of Orange and Hollywood Boulevard, taking a U-Shaped route that ended west on Sunset Boulevard and back to Orange. The grand marshal this year was Joe Mantegna (“Joan of Arcadia,” “The Godfather: Part III,” and “Criminal Minds”), and was accompanied by broadcast hosts Erik Estrada “CHiPs” and Laura McKenzie “Traveler." Dean Cain of “Lois & Clark” hosted the event’s music portion this year. In addition to celebrity appearances, the parade consisted of the Long Beach Junior Band Concert, the Gadsden Elementary School Marching Band from San Luis Arizona, and the Victoria Rose Ladies Riding Society with their horses.
