HOLLYWOOD—On Thursday, February 26, Jacqueline Montalvo, an LAPD Officer from the Hollywood area died from a traffic accident. She was off duty that evening.
LAUREL CANYON—On Saturday, February 13, a eucalyptus
tree fell on power lines, breaking two wooden utility poles and knocking
off a transformer around midnight.
HOLLYWOOD HILLS—The area of Hollywood
Hills has been a target for burglars. The Los Angeles Police Department needs the
public’s help in identifying the suspects.
HOLLYWOOD—A man was wounded during a shooting that occurred outside of a Hollywood nightclub on Ivar Avenue just south of Sunset Boulevard during predawn hours.
STUDIO CITY—On January 8, at around 5:30 p.m. a man was found dead
by his roommate in their residence at 3908 Berry Drive located south of Ventura
Boulevard.
HOLLYWOOD—It was an unlucky day after Christmas for one dog who died after flames broke out at a LA Dogworks, a popular dog kennel among the rich and famous.
HOLLYWOOD HILLS—A broken sprinkler turned into a mudslide during the early morning on the block of Los Tilos Road. Residents of one home were evacuated.
HOLLYWOOD HILLS—On December
16, police responded to a report of a robbery in progress on the 8200
block of Mannix Drive in Hollywood Hills. The
family pet was shot.
HOLLYWOOD—Authorities discovered a man’s body near the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Vine Street. The body was discovered at approximately 1:30 a.m.
HOLLYWOOD—On November 9, an apartment building under
construction burst into flames in Hollywood. The incident occurred on 1425 N.
Detroit Street near Sunset Boulevard.
HOLLYWOOD—Police shut down Sunset Boulevard between Martel Avenue and Gardner Street at about 4:15 p.m. after a suspect barricaded himself in a motel room.
HOLLYWOOD HILLS—Police are still looking for the suspect who shot two men at the Adat Yeshurrun Valley Sephardic Synagogue in North Hollywood on October 29.
HOLLYWOOD HILLS—A handful of young celebrities found themselves victims of the same coed group of burglars. The burglars stole millions of dollars worth of goods.
