The recent rains have created a sinkhole in Mulholland Drive and closing most of the area. As soon as funding is approved, construction will take place.
LAUREL CANYON—On Saturday, February 13, a eucalyptus
tree fell on power lines, breaking two wooden utility poles and knocking
off a transformer around midnight.

A large tree collapsed on Wonderland Avenue in the Laurel Canyon area on Monday morning, destroying three power poles. It caused 170,000 consumers to be out of electricity, but it’s now back up.
