7-Day ThreadCrawl Presents 20% Retailiers
Posted by Camille Sarabia on Aug 21, 2013 - 11:16:35 AM

LOS ANGELES—Occurring for a seven-day spree, starting August 19, at 11:00 a.m. is the "ThreadCrawl" event that features 20 to 70 percent off Los Angeles retailer prices and restaurants.

The fashion-esque version of an art walk with open retail stores offering major discounts towards their customers will begin on Monday.  The seven-day event will feature high-retail Los Angeles fashion sales with shopper refreshment, snacks and entertainment for the shoppers.

Stores participating in the ThreadCrawl event include: New Era, Cerre, Jill Roberts, Civilionaire, Rebecca Minkoff, Confederacy, Kin, Alternative Apparel, Wasteland, Reformation, Juicy Couture, Klein Epstein & Parker, Bucks and Does and much more.  Other participating cities include: Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice, West Hollywood, Echo Park, Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Downtown, Pasadena, Mid City, Glendale, Manhattan Beach, Malibu and Studio City.

Entrance into the event and of course the discounts is required by a $17 ticket which will open the opportunity to full exclusive discounts at LA stores. A donation of $2 from each ticket will benefit City of Hope, a cancer and diabetes research center located in north east Los Angeles.

Bucks and Does retail store is participating in ThreadCrawl.
ThreadCrawl was first started by Joshua Jordison, who although his music industry background offered no assistance in fashion, wanted to "create some sort of movement or event that would get people excited about shopping in brick and mortar stores again," he states on  From a single idea spurred by the closing of his favorite LA Store "Ever," Jordison has now collaborated an event of which hundreds of Los Angeles retailers are taking part in.

The standard discount is 20%, but many stores are going above and beyond to make this event memorable.  From vintage to feminine chic, to urban trendiness in the heart of LA, ThreadCrawl attends to every shopper's dream, a chance to get their much-loved items at a price that they love. ThreadCrawl is sponsored by Yelp, Pop Chips, Perrier, City of Hope, LA Canvas and more.
