Clippers Win At Home

LOS ANGELES—On Wednesday, April 10, the Los Angeles Clippers won against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Clippers (52-26) won 111-95 against the Timberwolves (29-49).

 

Seven players scored in double digits for the Los Angeles Clippers. Blake Griffin and Chris Paul scored 19 points to lead the Clippers. Willie Green scored 15 points, Matt Barnes scored 14 points, Jamal Crawford scored 11 points and both Caron Butler and DeAndre Jordan scored 10 points for the Pacific Division Champions.


The Clippers shot 57 percent from the field and 52 percent from the three-point line making 11 three’s for the game. They also had 48 rebounds and 34 assists as a team; 11 for Chris Paul who had a near triple double.

Nikola Pekovic had 20 points, Derrick Williams had 13 points, Luke Ridnour had 11 points and both Alexey Shved and J.J. Barea had 12 points off the bench for the Timberwolves. Ricky Rubio struggled with his shot throughout the night, he was two for eight from the field for only six points.


The Timberwolves were without All Star power forward, Kevin Love, who is out the whole season due to a season ending injury in January. No.4 Seeded Clippers next play against The Hornets (27-52) on Friday.
