Concerts Coming To LA

LOS ANGELES—This September there are plenty of great
concerts in some of Los Angeles’s famous venues. To kick off the fall, here are
some highlighted concerts that will provide I fun night of great music.
Iron and Wine will be playing with My Morning Jacket and
Portugal the Man for two nights at the Wiltern Theater starting September 11.
Front man Sam Beam of Iron and Wine, whispers over gentle guitar and softly sung
lullabies. My Morning Jacket and Portugal the Man will contrast the relaxing
style of Iron and Wine with more up-tempo and energetic jams. This concert will
be one of the best coming to Los Angeles, be sure not to miss it!
Dave Matthews will be coming to concert in Los Angeles on
September 12, following the recent release of his new album. Dave
Matthews will be playing at the Hollywood Bowl. The Dave Matthews Band is
renowned for their high-energy live performances, with long jams, drum and
guitar solos.
The Silversun Pickups will be playing in Santa Monica at the
Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. The Silversun Pickups gained notoriety after the
release of their album titled “Carnavas” in 2007 which featured two singles
that made Billboards top 10 rock tracks in 2007. The doors open at 7:00 p.m.
and the show starts at 8:00. Tickets are $40.
Concluding concerts this September with a bang is the jam
band Wilco. Rolling Stone described Wilco as "one of America's most
consistently interesting bands;” their style varies is experimental and is
reminiscent of some of the 60’s and 70’s most influential and popular artists.
Wilco will be playing at the Hollywood Bowl on September 28.
