LOS ANGELES—On Wednesday, March 13, Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant went out indefinitely with a severe left ankle sprain. During the 96-92 loss to the Atlanta Hawks, Kobe Bryant suffered an ankle sprain. The X-rays taken after the game came out negative. Kobe Bryant has been getting treatment on the swollen ankle. The injury happened during the last seconds of an important game for the Lakers. Kobe Bryant fell awkwardly after taking a shot to tie the game. After the play, Bryant was angry with the officials saying they have to take better care of shooters in the NBA. Kobe Bryant was also mad he had to wait a whole year to get revenge on the Atlanta Hawks. Kobe Bryant finished with 31 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the loss. The Los Angeles Lakers are now (34-32), which is the eight spot in the western conference only half a game above the Utah Jazz, which have (33-32) conference record.
