Los Angeles News
HOLLYWOOD—The rebellious actress Lindsay Lohan had a bench warrant issued for her arrest by the Los Angeles County. She is expected to be in Los Angeles on Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. for her court appearance, where she faces charges for failing two drug tests.
Lohan agreed to two random drug tests a week when she was found positive for having cocaine and amphetamines in her system. Her probation has been revoked, and Judge Elden Fox will decide if she leaves her court appearance on Friday in handcuffs, on her way to jail, or if she will be sent to a locked-down drug rehab center. If Lohan is sentenced to jail, she could spend 30 days per failed drug test.
Lohan spent last summer in Lynwood’s L.A. County Jail for violating her probation by drunk driving. She blames the people she surrounds herself with, admitting there needs to be a change.
Lohan is currently lined up to work on the film “Inferno” that is going to be filmed in Louisiana; however, the consequences of her failed drug tests will impede any action on her being able to participate in the film.
