The victim, described as a Latino male in his mid 20s and in a wheelchair, was rushed to the USC Medical Center after being shot in the stomach by an unknown suspect. The shooting took place just before 1 a.m. According to reports, the shooter fired multiple shots. Police say the suspect took off on foot immediately after heading northbound toward Chateau Place. The victim was conscious prior when the ambulance took him to the hospital and currently remains in stable condition.

Because there were a large number of people at the game release that night, police are asking for the public’s cooperation and to call Olympic Detectives at (213) 382-9102 with any information.
