Reward For Information On Women's Death
Posted by Ivetta Babadjanian on Dec 30, 2013 - 2:15:46 PM

LOS ANGELES—A candlelight vigil was held on Thursday, December 26 at 7 p.m. for 22-year-old Bree'Anna Guzman by her mother, Darlene Guzman Duran.

Guzman was last seen on December 26, 2011 when she was waiting outside her home for her boyfriend to pick her up. An hour later, Duran texted her daughter but did not receive a response and Guzman did not return home that night.

Guzman's parents reportedly went to speak with her boyfriend the morning after her disappearance. He stated he had not seen or heard from her since December 23, 2011.

The Glendale native worked in sales at the Flox Shop in the Glendale Galleria since December 2011. She was also a 2007 graduate of Thomas Riley High School in Los Angeles and began attending a culinary school in Pasadena prior to her disappearance.

Her body was not found until a month later. Her body was allegedly partially clothed and dumped near a freeway off-ramp, just 100 feet from Allesandro Elementary School. Guzman leaves behind two young daughters.

"It's been a nightmare trying to be happy without missing a person who belongs next to her children, her mother, father and siblings, while the person who did this can open gifts with a smile," said Duran.

Two years later, Duran still strives to discover who was responsible for her daughter's death. The reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator has risen from $50,000 to $75,000. Anyone with information is asked to call Duran at (323) 213-7339.
