LOS ANGELES—Actor Thomas Gibson from the popular TV series “Criminal Minds" was arrested early Sunday morning for suspicion of driving under the influence in Downtown Los Angeles.
At around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 6, Gibson allegedly tried driving through a section of downtown Los Angeles that was blocked off for a half-marathon.
According to reports, the 50-year-old actor stopped at first and then proceeded to drive through the barricaded area where a night run was taking place. Police eventually stopped him, and after refusing a breathalyzer, he was taken into custody with a bail set for $15,000.
Gibson is known for his role as Aaron Hotchner, a supervisory special agent at the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit on the CBS series “Criminal Minds.” His best known roles have also been on “Dharma and Greg” and “Chicago Hope.” © Copyright 2011 by canyon-news.com |
