Thomas Gibson Arrested For DUI

LOS ANGELES—Actor Thomas Gibson from the popular TV series “Criminal Minds" was arrested early Sunday morning for suspicion of driving under the influence in Downtown Los Angeles.

At around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 6, Gibson allegedly tried driving through a section of downtown Los Angeles that was blocked off for a half-marathon.

According to reports, the 50-year-old actor stopped at first and then proceeded to drive through the barricaded area where a night run was taking place. Police eventually stopped him, and after refusing a breathalyzer, he was taken into custody with a bail set for $15,000.

Gibson is known for his role as Aaron Hotchner, a supervisory special agent at the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit on the CBS series “Criminal Minds.” His best known roles have also been on “Dharma and Greg” and “Chicago Hope.”
