HOLLYWOOD—Brittany Murphy was found dead on Sunday, December 20. The death of the married 32-year-old actress was a shock to many. She died after suffering cardiac arrest.
LOS ANGELES—Various factions came together to dispute Mayor Villaragoisa's plan to speed up the construction of transportation infrastructure in Los Angeles.
LOS ANGELES—Staff members at Cedar Sinai Medical Center reported that a computer default setting error caused a severe overdose of radiation to more than 200 patients.

HOLLYWOOD—Police arrested a man suspected of stabbing two homeless men and critically injuring a third in Hollywood. The assaults occurred in the afternoon. No other arrests have been made.
HOLLYWOOD—The Los Angeles City Council approved a $30 million loan to help endorse renovations that will allow Cirque du Soliel to perform at the Kodak Theatre 368 times a year.

arrested today. Charlie Samuel allegedly abducted Lily Burk and tried to force her to

LOS ANGELES—Passengers and airline workers were evacuated Monday when a suitcase was determined to be a suspicious item. Passengers and airline workers were evacuated from LAX.
LOS ANGELES—Lamar Advertising has made a proposal to the city to take down about 4,000 of its current billboards and replace them with 450 new ones, 50 of which would be digital.
