Police Search For Hit And Run Driver

MALIBU—On Friday July 26, a vehicle struck two pedestrians, a woman and a toddler, at around 8:30 p.m. and drove off. The woman was in her 50s and the toddler was around 3-years-old. Detectives are currently requesting the public’s help in identifying the driver of the vehicle.

 

The vehicle is described as a silver SUV and it allegedly ran into the victims on the 25800 block of the Pacific Coast Highway, between Puerco Canyon and Corral Canyon Roads.

The toddler and the woman were immediately airlifted to the UCLA Medical Center in Westwood. The woman suffered a broken arm, while the toddler received various facial abrasions and a fractured hip.
