LOS FELIZ—On Sunday, May 29, pop musician Katy Perry and comedic actor Russell Brand, who are married, are selling their Cromwell Avenue home for about $4 million.

"Prestigiously posed along a tree-abundant corridor, this magnificent 1922 residence is a grand and fully gated haven," the Teles Properties, Inc. real estate listing shows.

About $1.2 million of improvements were made when the home of the singer of the hit single "Firework" and star of "Get Him to the Greek" was assessed to be worth $3,250,032 after they bought it in December 2009, the Los Angeles County Office of the Assessor indicates. It is now being sold for $144,968 more.

Adhering to a Mediterranean architectural style, the 4,706-square-foot estate includes a dining and living room, four major bedrooms, with linen white-colored walls and floors made of either hardwood, stone or tile. Four and a half bathrooms featuring powder areas adjoin the four rooms.

Listed as being the size of a ballroom, the master suite, with ceilings that are 13 feet high, houses a fireplace, dressing room, spa tub and walk-in shower.

The master suite and other rooms have a circular flow that allows for socializing.

Upstairs, a library features recreational and office spaces with a full bathroom.

Modernist renovations have made the interiors of the home ideal for gallery displays and for viewing the downtown Los Angeles skyline.

Located on the ground level is a gourmand kitchen, with built-in cooking appliances, that opens up to a lounge and breakfast area. It looks out to a backyard veranda with a classic swimming pool and
spa.

Other areas outside of the estate feature walkways lined with white-colored stone balustrades, a lion's head fountain, a playing area for children, grassy yards, and a garden pergola that provides a pathway to and from a three-car garage.
Perry reportedly converted the garage into wardrobe styling room.

The couple plan making a pied-à-terre in New York where they also own their primary residence.
