City Of Malibu Directing PCH Safety Meeting

of Malibu, in collaboration with the Southern California Association of
Governments (SCAG) is taking public opinion into consideration in regards to
the safety concerns of the Pacific Coast Highway on Thursday, October 4 at 6 p.m.
public meeting is the fourth and final gathering and will be about the entire
21 miles of the highway that runs through Malibu as opposed to more specific
portions that were addressed in the three previous meetings. The purpose of the
meetings, which are taking place at Malibu City Hall, is to take a closer look
at safety issues and allow residents to offer up solutions to hazards such as
road conditions and accident patterns.
If members of the community cannot
attend in person, the city has set up an interactive website through October 12
at www.malibu.metroquest.com that allows residents to flood the inbox with their
concerns regarding safety and suggestions for improvement. In addition, website
visitors will be able to share with others how they use PCH with an interactive
