MALIBU—According to Lieutenant Jim Royal of the Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff’s Station, Cindy Vandor was arrested around 10:30 a.m. Monday morning after refusing to cooperate with sheriff’s deputies at the Trancas shopping center.

Vandor, who is known for being outspoken about public safety at the Trancas shopping center at Malibu City Council meetings, was reportedly shouting profanities at truck drivers at the shopping center and blaring her car horn excessively.

Vandor was taken to the Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff’s Station after being accused of resisting deputies and refusing to sign a ticket for excessive horn honking.
