Winners Announced For Student Art Show

MALIBU—Winners of the 2013 Malibu Student Art show were announced on Tuesday, February 5.

The Malibu Student Art Show was held at the
MichaelLandonCenter at
MalibuBluffsPark located at
24250 Pacific Coast Highway. The event took place on Saturday, February 2 and Sunday, February 3. There were three winners from each of the four categories, grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Each category had 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
The students’ work was judged by the Malibu Arts Association Co-Presidents, which includes Marie Stapel, Ed Stalup, and Maria Bleyberg. Ribbons and honorable mentions were awarded to all winners.
The award winning pieces will be displayed at the
MalibuCity Hall on February 11 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. during the City Council’s regular meeting.
