Woman Identified In Fatal Limousine Accident

Germany was identified on Sunday, April 21 as the woman who was killed on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) after a being hit by a limousine.
The accident occurred near Moonshadows restaurant located at 20300 PCH at around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriffs Department reports that the driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and that the collision was an accident.
The driver, who was on his way to pick someone up, fully cooperated with police following the accident.
According to her fashion blog, Salam, an international business student in London, had a keen interest in fashion and travel, and frequently visited Los Angeles. Friends of Salam have dedicated a blog, "Sarah Salam Forever," in honor of the young woman's life.
According to a post on Salam’s blog, Salam and her boyfriend had just finished dinner at Moonshadows Restaurant and were crossing the street to reach their car, when she stopped to say “love you” to her boyfriend, and was hit by an oncoming limo seconds after. Salam died in her boyfriend’s arms before police arrived on the scene.
PCH was closed off from 8:45 p.m. until 2:15 a.m. after the collision. No arrests were made.
