Shooting Near La Cienega Boulevard and Oakwood Avenue

BEVERLY HILLS—A fight which broke out between two groups of rival gangs on the night of Saturday the 12th at around 11:30 PM, just outside the back street of Norm’s Restaurant located in the 400 block of La Cienega Boulevard, left one dead from a fatal gunshot wound.
The incident which took place two Saturdays ago, and almost going into the third, still has no suspects. According to a police report, a possible suspect is described as a teenager about 16 years of age, thin build, black male, and between 5’2” and 5’3.”
When asked about the further details on the violent clash, Officer Habibi, LAPD Hollywood Division, said no further information can be provided other than already existing reports.
Reports say the act of violence set about outside the Level 10 Club near Norm’s Restaurant after an underground party called “Red Level” and continued to the parking lot of the restaurant till there was a gunshot to the victim.

Although according to reports there were nine people detained related to the shooting, Officer Habibi says there is no information on the release of the detainees or sketches of a possible suspect yet.
