Accident On The Pacific Coast Highway

PACIFIC PALISADES—On Friday July 26, a traffic collision occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway near the Temescal Canyon Road intersection in Pacific Palisades.



The accident occurred at 15820 Pacific Coast Highway at 1:19 pm. The Los Angeles Fire Department and an ambulance rushed to the scene as reports surfaced of one person being injured.


The person in question was immediately transported to St. John’s Medical Centre. The accident still remains under investigation, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Pacific Coast Highway is commonly regarded as one of the most scenic highways in the United States.

According to the Pacific Coast Highway Traffic Safety Evaluation prepared by the Malibu and Lost Hills Station, the Pacific Highway Coast is utilized by roughly 35,000 commuters during peak hours on a regular weekday basis. During the summer, commuter peak levels escalate to around 100,000 since it is also a major access route to the major beaches along the coast.
