PACIFIC PALISADES—This past weekend brought a startling discovery of a human skull on the Los Liones hiking trail. The skull was found by two hikers walking the trail located off of the 500 block of Los Liones Drive. They immediately contacted the local fire station, which then reported the incident to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police arrived on the scene on Saturday shortly after 11 a.m. where a human torso was then found twenty feet away from the human skull.
Many are considering the remains to be that of the lost UCLA student, David Goeser. An autopsy is being conducted where the identity and cause of death will be determined.
Anyone with information concerning the human remains is asked to contact the LAPD and the West Bureau homicide detectives at 877.527.3247.
