PACIFIC PALISADES—The seventh annual Safety Harbor Kids Polo Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, September 7 at the Will Rogers Polo Club to benefit American orphans, foster children and homeless children.
Safety Harbor Kids, a non-profit organization, will be partnering with Tesla Motors to host the event, which will feature the following: appetizers, lunch, wine tasting, polo matches, open bars, surprise entertainment, a string quartet and vocal performances, gift bags and a “best hat” contest, according to the release.
The event will begin at 1 p.m. with red carpet photos followed by polo matches beginning at 2 p.m. and lasting until 5 p.m. Past supporters have included Reese Witherspoon, Jeremy Piven, Mel Gibson and Jim Belushi, and last year’s attendees included John Savage, Eric Roberts and Michael Clarke Duncan.
Safety Harbor Kids began in 2007, with the goal of assisting and enriching the lives of orphans and homeless children through the use of artistic and educational programs in the Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
