PACIFIC PALISADES—On Tuesday March 7, casting calls from the reality show “ Malibu” went out to Palisades Charter High School students.

The series “ Malibu” comes from Sean Travis, the executive producer of “The Hills” which starred Lauren Conrad. Renewed calls went out to Palisades Charter High School over the week for a reality show that will document the lives of eight teenagers from West Los Angeles. The reality show will not be shot on campus, but it will seek to document the lives of eight juniors and seniors from different high schools in West Los Angeles including Palisades Charter High School, Santa Monica and Malibu.

The show will document the teenagers through social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The reality show is looking for creative, exciting, fun and free-thinking individuals who truly believe this will be the best summer of their life. The creators of the show hope to capture the teenagers and how they go about their days and what they post on the social media.

Auditions for the reality show were held this week from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Santa Monica. To apply, juniors and seniors should send a phone number and/or email address to sarahmcdowd@yahoo.com.
