PACIFIC PALISADES—A man has been arrested for attempting to break into singer Rihanna’s home over the weekend.

On Friday, October 4, 27-year-old Jonathan Wooper was taken into custody after he allegedly tried to scale the walls of the singer’s home and was caught by her security team, according to reports by E! Online. According to police, he has delusions about being friends with the singer.

TMZ reports Wooper fled the scene and was arrested a mile away from the singer’s home.

Rihanna, who is currently in Australia for her “Diamonds” world tour, was not home at the time of the incident.

This attempted break-in comes just one week after a man threw a chair through a sliding glass door and set the alarm off at her home on Sunday, September 29. That suspect has not been caught and police are investigating to see if both incidents are connected.

Other incidents at the singer’s home include a man being caught by her security team in June for climbing onto her roof and another in February when a thief broke into her neighbor’s house instead of hers. She was also the victim of a swatting prank early in the year.
