Known for his roles in “W.,” “No Country for Old Men,” “The Goonies” and the soon-to-be released film “Gangster Squad,” Brolin was allegedly heavily intoxicated on a Santa Monica side walk just before midnight on Tuesday, January 1. The 44-year-old actor was arrested and booked at around 3:00 a.m. After sobering up, he was released around 7:15 a.m. without a citation. He will not have to appear in court.
On Monday, January 7, the actor tweeted, “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-apparently picked the wrong g***damn road ‘cause I ended up in a jail cell for New Years.”
Brolin is son of actor, James Brolin, known for “Catch Me If You Can” and “Hotel.” Josh Brolin plays a Los Angeles-based police officer in the new movie “Gangster Squad,” set to be released in theaters on Friday, January 11. The film also stars Ryan Gosling, Emma Watson, and Sean Penn.
