Arson Suspects Wanted By SMPD

SANTA MONICA—Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating three suspects in a current arson case.

According to the Santa Monica Police Department, on Monday, June 24, officers responded to a call regarding a fire in a vacant lot at the 600 block of 11th Street at approximately 1:50 p.m.

Surveillance cameras in the area captured three suspects running from the fire’s location. The suspects include two females and one male.

The male is described as White or Hispanic, in his late teens, a lean build, and he was wearing black framed glasses and carrying a red and yellow skateboard. The two females are described as either White or Hispanic. They are thought to be in their late teens also, with medium builds and brown and dark brown hair.
