SANTA MONICA—Author Stephanie Lehmann will be presenting her newest novel, "Astor Place Vintage," at the Santa Monica Public Library on Wednesday, July 24.
Lehmann will be discussing and signing her latest novel in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King Jr. Auditorium. Ms. Lehmann’s novel focuses on two women of different eras and their intercrossing through the written word. In the new novel, a 21st century woman that runs a vintage clothing store discovers and reads a diary from a girl living in New York in 1907.
According to Simon and Shuster’s author page, Stephanie Lehmann received her BA from UC Berkeley and her MA from New York University. She has previously written "Thoughts While Having Sex," "Are You in the Mood," "You Could Do Better" and "The Art of Undressing."
Various vintage photographs and old stories that inspired her to write her latest novel will be on hand. After her book talk, there will be a book sale along with a book signing by the author.
The paperback version of her latest novel was released on June 11.
The book talk is free and open to the public. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
