Book Event With Marty Brounstein

SANTA MONICA — The Santa Monica Public Library will host a book talk on November 2 for author Marty Brounstein.

The event will revolve around his 2011 work “Two Among the Righteous Few: A Story of Courage in the Holocaust,” which tells the story of Frans and Mein Winjnakker, a Catholic couple who saved the lives of more than two dozen Jews in the Netherlands during World War II.


According to a press release from the City of Santa Monica, the talk will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Martin Luther King Jr. Auditorium. After the talk, a book sale and signing will take place.


Brounstein holds a B.A. in Education and an M.S. in Industrial Relations and has owned and operated The Practical Solutions Group, a consulting firm aimed at developing and improving management solutions.


He has also authored several books, including “Coaching & Mentoring for Dummies,” “Managing Teams for Dummies" and "Effective Recruiting Strategies.”


The Santa Monica Public Library is located at 601 Santa Monica Boulevard. The event is free to the public, but seating will be limited. For more information, contact the library at 310-458-8600.
