Four-Car Collision On 405

SANTA MONICA—The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) and California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the scene of an accident involving a semi-truck and four other vehicles on Wednesday, May 8 at around 1:09 p.m. The accident occurred after the truck collided with the shoulder wall of the 405 freeway heading south just before the Venice Boulevard exit.

 

The accident caused traffic in both directions according to CHP reports.

 

The LAFD confirmed that one person was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but the condition of the individual is still unknown, and that no extrication was necessary. No other injuries were reported. Police are still investigating the accident.
