Police Search For Union Bank Robber

SANTA MONICA
Santa Monica police and the FBI are looking for any information that can lead to the arrest of the man suspected of robbing the Union Bank located on 1101 Montana Ave, on Wednesday, March 20.

 

The suspect entered the bank at around 10 a.m., and subsequently walked up to a teller holding a semi-automatic gun and demanded an undisclosed amount of cash. The man never released a shot and no injuries were reported.

 

Although there were police present at the time of the robbery, the man was able walk out of the bank untouched. After which, the Santa Monica Police arrived to the scene to search for fingerprints and other forensic evidence to aid the investigation.

 

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s, wearing a brown baseball hat, faded denim jeans and dark prescription glasses. As of press time, no other descriptions have been given.
