Police Searching For Armed Robbery Suspects

SANTA MONICA—Police are searching for two subjects of interest in an armed robbery at a jewelry store that occurred on Friday, November 30.

 

After responding to a call at around 1:20 p.m., police learned that two suspects had entered Cabochan Fine Jewelry at 1426 Montana Ave. and sprayed several victims with pepper spray before hammering and smashing open a jewelry case, stealing several pieces of jewelry. The suspects were last seen heading southbound on Alley 14 in a vehicle described as a dark, 90s Honda 4-door.

The suspects were described as two black males between 20 and 30 years old, and around 5’10”-5’12” in height, with slim frames. They were said to be wearing dark colored, hooded sweatshirts with light colored pants and tennis shoes. They were also reported to be wearing dark masks during the time of the robbery. The store’s security footage shows two similar looking people with a similar looking car, allegedly posing as fake customers in the store.
