Santa Is Coming Early This Year!

SANTA MONICA—Who says Kris Kringle can only make his rounds with eight reindeer leading the way? This Saturday, good ole Saint Nick will grace Santa Monica’s presence with police officers and firefighters, shelling out boatloads of candy canes all throughout the day at this year’s 20th Annual Candy Cane Drive.


From 10:30 a.m. until around 4:00 p.m., policemen and the fire department will be escorting Santa Clause as they hit the following parks at the listed times:


10:30-11:00 a.m. Douglas Park - California Ave & 25th Street
11:15-11:45 a.m. Christine Reed Park - California Ave & Lincoln Boulevard
12:00-12:30 a.m. Third Street Promenade & Wilshire Boulevard
1:45-2:15 p.m. Virginia Avenue Park ”“ 2200 Virginia Avenue
2:30-3:00 p.m. Marine Park- Marine St. & 17th Street
3:15-3:45 p.m. Clover Park ”“ Ocean Park Blvd & 25th Street (Parking Lot)


Children and adults are encouraged to come with their cameras and see our favorite man in the big red suit who never fails to bring holiday cheer to the old and young.
