“The funds we raise will cover costs of much needed safety, game and training equipment, field repairs, assistant coach salaries, and more. We will acknowledge your generosity on our web site,” explained a letter released by the Santa Monica Diamond Club to potential sponsors. This is the third year in which the fundraiser is being held.
Other attendees joining Sheen include former athletes and actors, such as Tim Leary, Tony Todd, Christina DeRosa, Derek Lee, and more.
Tickets are being sold at Santa Monica Diamond Club’s website, $85 for the entrance fee with poker buy-in, and $50 for the entrance fee without poker.
