Santa Monica Ice Rink Opens Thursday

SANTA MONICA—It’s a celebration on ice! You’re invited to join in on the fun and merriment as the City of Santa Monica celebrates the grand opening of “ICE at Santa Monica,” this coming Thursday, November 8, at 6 p.m.

The skating rink is located on the corner of 5th and Arizona. The ice rink will be open throughout the holiday season and through the New Year.

Be one of the first to strap on some skates and glide around the ice, or just help yourself to some concessions and enjoy the festivities.

The grand opening event will host music by DJ Kelly Dlux and performances by synchronized skating team “California Gold,” along with appearances by some of California’s most elite skaters.

The event will be hosted by Randy Gardner and Tai Babilonia.
