The 18th Annual New Heroes Celebration

SANTA MONICA—Come celebrate and honor our community’s new educators, police officers, and firefighters in this year’s 18th annual New Heroes Celebration in Santa Monica on Monday, September 24. Every year the opportunity is given to the business community to welcome the new servants of the city.

Representatives of their organization introduce the new heroes, and an Inspirational Hero award is given for contributions to the youth of the community. This year the Chambers Education Committee honors Fire Captain Matt Norris.

 

The event will be held at the poolside of LeMerigot Hotel on 1740 Ocean Avenue in Malibu from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. New educators, police officers, and firefighters are given free admission to the event. Chamber member tickets are $35, and non-member tickets are $45.

 

The event is sponsored by Harding Larmore Kutcher and Kozal, LLP. Appetizers and beverages will be offered in the poolside courtyard, and all new public servants will be able to receive door prizes from local businesses and gift bags.
