SHERMAN OAKS—Last week, officials asked for the public’s help in finding a San Diego woman who had been missing for almost a month. The day after the request was sent out, a body was found in the car registered to the missing woman and police have now officially confirmed it is the body of, Grace Anne Hall.

Hall, 23, was headed to Sherman Oaks for a job interview at an undisclosed home, but never arrived. She was last seen on March 20 in the San Diego area. A body was found in the trunk of Hall’s car in Kearny Mesa, San Diego when a patrol officer spotted Hall’s vehicle on the side of the road. It wasn’t until Saturday, April 20, that it was confirmed to be Hall’s body.

The cause of death is still under investigation, but officials say there is no evidence of foul play and that the death may have been a suicide. A psychiatrist who examined the case says that Hall may have gone in the trunk so that it would be more difficult to find her. According to officials, Hall had been unhappy lately at the way her life was going and may have committed suicide as a result. Police are waiting on toxicology reports, but homicide is being ruled unlikely.
