Child Crucially Injured In Crash

SHERMAN OAKS—On July 7, a crash occurred on the Ventura (101) Freeway, injuring four people, including a child, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Authorities indicate that the incident was reported at around 2:45 p.m., when the driver of an SUV, traveling eastbound toward Haskell Avenue, collided with at least one other vehicle.
The intensity of the crash reportedly caused the SUV to flip over onto the roadway, causing non-life-threatening injuries to the three adults and severe injuries to the child, who was transported to a local hospital in crucial condition.
No additional information on the cause of the collision or the current condition of the youngster is available as of press time.
