STUDIO CITY—Detectives are seeking the public’s help in obtaining information that will lead to the capture of two burglars who burglarized a family’s home in the early morning hours of May 21 while they slept.
According to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department, detectives arrived at the residence in the 12100 block of Laurel Terrace after receiving a call of a “hot-prowl” burglary at approximately 4am. Two suspects had entered the home and obtained a kitchen knife as they moved about the residence. While the suspects were in the process of removing items from one of the children’s bedrooms, the child woke up and noticed the suspects taking property. Not long after, the suspects entered the master bedroom in the home and turned on a light which woke another family member. This caused the suspects to quickly flee the scene in a white vehicle that was waiting in the home’s driveway.
Police describe the burglary suspects as two male blacks. The first suspect is 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds. The second burglar is described as standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. Finally, the female black accomplice is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall weighing 130 to 150 pounds.
