Reward For Man Who Beat Bus Driver

STUDIO CITY—A $25,000 reward has been issued for any information leading to the suspect who is accused of assaulting a Studio City bus driver. The beating took place at around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10 at Ventura Boulevard and Laurel Canyon Boulevard.


Reportedly, the suspect was angered by the bus fare and punched the driver in the head, causing him to go unconscious. The suspect then fled the scene of the crime.


The assailant is being described as a man in his mid-20’s, between 5’8 and 5’10, thin, with shoulder length, dark hair. Anyone with information into the assault is urged to call (213) 922-3625, and speak with Detective Eggers of the LA Sheriff’s Transit Services Bureau.
