City last Sunday. Their mother had demonstrated how to hop on the curb, but their little legs could not propel them high enough.

Firefighters Stumble Across Marijuana Plants After Putting Out Fire At Home

Firefighters were called to the scene of a fire on the 3200 block of Dos Palos in Studio City. Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire, but soon afterwards discovered marijuana plants growing inside the home. Authorities were called to the home and they confiscated more than 384 plants. A suspect is now in police custody.

A water main broke in the early morning hours on Monday, December 10, 2007 near Coldwater Canyon Avenue in Studio City. The water caused problems during the early morning commute in the area. Much of the area didn't suffer any significant damage, just large amounts of mud and debris on the streets. Rocker Eddie Van Halen's home suffered minor damage from the flood water.

Monday, November 27, 2007 a carjacking suspect was apprehended after a speed chase that ensued on the freeway. The freeway chase began at
9:30 am with the suspect running from the police in his maroon Toyota Camry. Throughout the chase, helicopters with news crews recorded the pursuit live.
